Legacy:
Founded in the early 1900s, Volksrust Golf Club has a rich history. The course was the home ground for Sunshine Tour star Nico van Rensburg. An iconic feature of our course is an ancient giant tree, reminiscent of a redwood, standing proudly in the middle of the fairway on the downhill par-4 second hole.
Unique Challenge:
From the back tee, golfers face a thrilling choice on the second hole – either navigate their drives over the towering tree or strategically find a way around it. This unique challenge adds an exciting dimension to our course, making every round memorable.
